In a recent legal case, Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are facing allegations of distributing explicit images to employees, with claims that some of the recipients included minors.
The lawsuit contends that after deciding to launch an adult entertainment business, Bianca shared a file-sharing link containing pornographic videos with employees. This action was purportedly part of their effort to upload these videos onto their new app, which is still under development. The lawsuit also claims that the file-sharing link was accessible to some minor employees working on the project.
Additionally, the lawsuit accuses the couple of delayed payments and “forced labor and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment.” According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye West and Milo Yiannopoulos, the former chief of staff, allegedly failed to pay employees on time.
The lawsuit further alleges that Kanye West did not compensate employees for promoting his new album, “Vulture” and “Vulture II,” on their newly introduced app, YZYVSN. The complaint also states that the couple employed a group of 14-year-olds to manage work related to the app.
Moreover, the lawsuit includes several other accusations, such as making false promises about working conditions and failing to adhere to company policies. An excerpt from the lawsuit notes, “Ye ordered all employees to sign non-disclosure agreements, threatening to fire the minors and refusing to pay them if they didn’t. Minor developers were also required to sign ‘volunteer’ agreements.”
This latest lawsuit adds to West’s legal troubles, including two previous lawsuits. One was filed by former employee Trevor Phillips, who accused Kanye of expressing admiration for Hitler and making threats against the LGBTQ+ community.
Trevor Phillips’ lawyer stated, “By filing this lawsuit, we hope our clients’ rights are upheld and that Mr. West recognizes that his messages—allegedly promoting discrimination, antisemitism, and admiration for Hitler—are unacceptable in today’s world.”
